Max Joy – Associate

Max was admitted into the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2019 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Flinders University. Previously working as a Judge’s Associate for 2 years, Max’s strength lies in litigation matters of all types due to the intimate knowledge of the judicial
process.

Nick Murphy

Nick Murphy

Nick has worked on a variety of Criminal Law matters including murder, manslaughter, sex charges, trafficking, firearm charges, affray, driving offences, criminal asset confiscation, drug & cannabis charges, fraud offences, assault and intervention orders. Nick also specialises in sports law, working on some of South Australia's most high - profile sports cases, including a recent (2022) judicial review to the Supreme Court of South Australia.

Nick is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia. Nick has completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of South Australia and has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

Rory MacDonald – Solicitor

Rory graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) before joining Charlton Rowley in June 2021. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2022 with the Law Society of South Australia and was admitted to practice in June 2022.

Working as a Solicitor, Rory assists Luke Rowley in a wide range of complex legal matters.

Aimee Van Diermen – Law Graduate

Aimee Van Dierm en – Law Graduate

Aimee graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Development and aims to be admitted into the Supreme Court of South Australia as a Solicitor by September 2022. Before joining the Charlton Rowley team in May 2021, Aimee completed an internship at Len King Chambers under James Marcus. Now she works full time assisting in commercial and civil litigation disputes.
